Our journey began in the vibrant city of Cape Town, South Africa, where coffee was the heartbeat of our home filled with young people from various cultural backgrounds. Morning sunrises over Table Mountain, the sound of waves crashing against the shore, and the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee created moments we cherished. When we moved to Hamburg, Germany, we carried this love for coffee and people with us—along with a deep respect for the farmers, other roasters, and baristas who make every cup special. Inspired by our South African roots and the rich coffee culture of Europe, we founded Kingdom coffee: a small-batch, family-run coffee roastery dedicated to freshness, quality, and sustainability.
